  Ordered these a half size up from my usual and was a bit surprised by how smallish they were on my foot, that fit all the way flush to the back edge.I ordered another pair in a different color on a sale and decided to gamble and size up again. This time I order a full size AND a half up and they fit perfectly, with 1/3" at the back edge.As a bit of a natural power-strider, I walk fast, and being able to rely on that heel strike for traction is important. I wanted a pair that didn't have my heel balanced precariously near that back edge!Going up a size and a half worked - so a size 10 fits more like an 8 1/2.Also, the front strap between the toes is short-ish, so it seems to pull back on that area. I have a sleek frame and flatter/bonier feet and even I noticed this effect. If you have feet with more "body" to them - more fluff ;) - these may be a tad uncomfortable, even if you size up considerably. I noticed this on both pairs/sizes.I am guessing these will adjust and conform to the foot as they get worn, and things will settle into alignment as they should.Still, I strongly suggest you buy these being able to do free returns, until you are certain you know what size will work for you, in length AND strap comfort.All those caveats aside, I wear thongs A LOT, and these are the most comfortable pair I have ever felt! Immediately re-ordered a 2nd pair. Like walking on gummy bears. Happy feet thongs. The strap doesn't pull too much on the front of my feet, and they are quite used to that from wearing thongs so much anyway (hot feet!), and walking in them sinks my foot into the footbed, so things align right.Great company, but they should *really* look into true-ing up their sizes to proper fit standards (so customers get the expected fit from a thongs order) and fix the issue of the straps being a bit too tight/snug between the toes, as this can be pretty uncomfortable. Nothing ruins a great pair of thongs faster than a toe-strap that is painfully tight, unyielding, and causes abrasion/friction between the toes! A little adjustment in manufacturing would mean a HUGE comfort boost for customers/wearers.For such a good company, getting these 2 issues resolved once and for all would be a huge blessing to company and customers for the long haul!Being so comfortable, it is worth it to go thru the hassle to find your own "right pair/size" and order a couple/few pair once you do.This review *only* applies to the Braided Bounce, as I have only tried/bought those. Whether these issues apply to other styles, I have no idea.Overall, really amazing comfort and glad I decided to gamble on these in the comfort category. I wear some pretty brick-like thongs - no comfort but natural air conditioning for those hot of feet! - and being active in walking/jogging/etc., I needed at least one pair that offered some occasional comfort. I ordered 3 pairs, from 3 brands, across men's and women's styles/thongs. I kept these and ordered a 2nd pair. Foot (and fait) comfort accomplished!

  I have skinny feet and this flip flop stays in place and is very comfortable. It also has very good arch support. I'm hoping the other colors come back in my size so i can order again. It's a great buy and your feet will be very happy!

  I’ve been buying Cobian flip flops for years. I prefer the Skinny Bounce model, but they seem to have discontinued that one in my size (11) and preferred color (light tan). So, I gave their braided model a chance. They’re fine. Not as flexible as the Skinny Bounce, due to the thicker sole, but the stiffness is tolerable. You need to size up one size for proper fit on all Cobian sandals, in my experience. The part that goes between your toes isn’t as soft and pliable on the braided model as on the Skinny Bounce, which could be an important factor for some people. I think it will soften with time. Overall, Cobian quality is good and reliable. Fast delivery. Colors limited, but the braided ones are a nice neutral, light gray color.

  My cousin borrowed my flip flops and now she loves them. The "bounce" series is the best. I bought these ones in tan and white for my daughter because she wears them everyday and she needed a pair that went with her summer dresses.

  I have purchased a Cobain braided flip flop 9same style difference color) before from a store and really wanted another pair. I am a size 8.5W and my first pair was a 9 because the 8.5 was a bit tight in the store.This time I tried an 8.5 and right out of the box it was a bit tight, but I also knew based on the last pair that the sandal will compress and form to my foot, so I decided to keep it an see how went. So far so good and the fit has become a bit more comfortable over a few wearings. My old size 9 is very loose now after several years of wear and I am hopeful that this new size will be better as the sandal wears in.The mixed Chocolate color is just as it looks on my computer and phonescreen.My original purchase years ago was Cream. I liked the lighter color but be aware that the foot bed does show the dirt and so I felt like I needed to wash it more and it didn't necessarily always come out super clean or I just didn't want to work that hard.This is the exact one I bought and I hope they never stop making these amazing sandals!Chocolate colored, Cobian Women’s Summer Active Comfort Thick Top Sole Thong Braided Bounce Flip-Flops
